Food Web-quest.

Above is my food web-quest that we did just a few days ago. I liked this activity, we got to basically go on a French website and go Food Shopping. I thought this was really cool and fun because you get to see what it's like to shop for food in France. I hope we get to do another activity like this for other topics. In French 1 we did a activity like this for our Shopping topic and I thought that was really fun. 

Time Practice.

Above is really just practice/refreshment on time. In French 1 we learned time and numbers and we haven't really done much with time in French 2 so I'm happy that we did this practice on it because it really helps refresh your memory. 

Food Paragraph.

Above is my food paragraph that I wrote for and assignment we recently had not that long ago. I love writing paragraphs! I think it's great practice and helps a lot. It helps you learn to write better in french and it's great practice. I think we should do more assignments like this, its really not that hard and it really does help you. 

Irregular Verb Practice.

I was really proud of the grade that I got on this. I usually have a lot of trouble with verbs but I'm getting better at them. I like doing quizlet practice, I think it helps a lot. 

Food and Shopping In France.

Have you ever thought about what food would be like in other countries? 
Well France is one country that has a big variety of different foods. I think some of the foods are pretty interesting and I would like to try some of them. Some of the foods sound kind of gross but I'm a very picky eater. They eat a lot of cheese though, teenagers there consume more cheese than yogurt. Cheese and wine are very popular there. For breakfast they rarely ever have meats, eggs or cereal. Cereal is actually becoming more common among children though, because of the American influence. A typical French breakfast consists of bread with butter and jam and coffee. Something I thought was interesting was that they have their coffee in a bowl instead of a cup. 

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to shop in a different country? 
Well France isn't all that different. Their shopping habits don't really seem that different from ours. We also have some stores where you pay to get a shopping cart and some people here prefer to bring their own shopping bags. In France you have to bring your own shopping bag instead of them providing it. They also have a lot of street stands where they get most of their fruits and vegetables. I think thats pretty cool. Something I found kind of strange though was that they don't refrigerate a lot of the foods including meats! I don't really know how they do that but I thought that was kind of strange.

Meal Planning & Foods.

Above is my meal planning & foods activity. I really liked doing this activity and I learned some new french words! I think this was really good practice and I learned a lot of new french words, I think doing activities like this will help a lot. Some of the words that I learned were melon l'eau, tofu, avocat, fromage cottage, etc. I hope we do more activities like this! 

French Writing Paragraph.

This is my french writing paragraph that I did today and I really liked doing this activity. This is great practice and I think its a good example of my work and I think we should do more activities like this. 

Menu Dialog

Above is my menu dialog that we did today, I thought this was good practice and a fun activity to do. It was pretty easy and good practice writing in french and learning how to order food. 

Practice.

This is from Friday, we had to practice our verbs and these were the three different things we had to do to practice them. Pretty easy and great practice. I like doing these types of things I think they really help.

Comparisons.

Above is my worksheet that I did on comparisons. At fist I was really confused with them but as we did more I understood them a lot better. Comparisons are actually pretty easy and I liked learning this. I liked doing this activity its great practice! <3

French Food Research.

Above is my research that I did for our project that we are doing. I have 3 other people in my group and we each got a couple different foods that we had to research about. This is really just the start of the project, I'm pretty excited about it though because I think this project will be really fun to do. We also will get to make one of these foods and I'm pretty excited about that. <3

French Sentences.

Above are my french sentences that I did for my vocabulary contract. I think doing the french sentences are great practice, because you get better at writing in french and also learning how to say the sentences. You can write whatever you want, you just have to use 25 vocabulary words. I think this is great practice.

Menu Scavenger Hunt.

I thought this activity was really fun and interesting to do. I liked seeing the different menus and the different types of food that they have in France. The first menu was probably the best one, I liked how they had it set up. It was very presentable and just very fancy.
